Went to see Hipflask and The Liberty Bells in PJ's tonight. Awesome gig apart from some bald, cro-magnun fuckwit who couldn't grasp the concept of a mosh-pit squaring up to Doug and being a bigger buzzkill than Buzz McKillington.
Anyway these guys were on first and the dude with the Steve Vai guitar could fucking shred. Still much like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani their music was all technical and no substance.
