Winged Behemoth Deuce
Started working on a sequel to Winged Behemoth (the Flash game I developed for my HND).
Here is the story for the game:
BackStory (Winged Behemoth 1)
The Winged Behemoth is a spacecraft infused with the spirit of an ancient dragon. Long ago there were many of it’s kind and their purpose was to protect the universe and all it’s inhabitants from evils that might arise to endanger it.
In the year 3249 a race who call themselves “Humans” from the Planet “Earth” in the Milky Way Galaxy had, through their own careless advancements in technology, managed to rip a hole in the universe that lead into Dark Space. Many of the Behemoths gave their lives in sacrifice in order to save the universe. The last Behemoth was forced to lay waste to the human race to prevent any more such accidents.
What the Behemoth didn’t realise was that a parallel instance of the human race had escaped from Dark Space and were plotting to take over the known universe. They settled on the planet of Hephaestus and built an army of thousands, as well as a giant Planet Crusher, with cannons capable of destroying planets. It wasn’t until the Dark Humans attacked The Behemoth’s home planet that It was forced to single-handedly take on the invaders.
Story (Winged Behemoth 2)
After defeating the dark human infestation and returning our universe to normal the Behemoth returned to it’s home planet where it entered a state of hibernation.
Billions of years of evolution later and a new intelligent, humanoid life form and come into fruition from a distant planet. Their name roughly translated into English would be the Ksars. The Ksars perfected space travel and terraforming, and soon colonised several of the planets in their system and after perfecting lightspeed travel, went on to colonise many systems under the command of the Ksar Space Programme.
The Ksar Space Programme then discovered the Behemoth’s Galaxy and sent out explorers and scouters to analyse the region for terraforming.
It was on the Colony Planet of Githous in their own system that they discovered a rare egg. Little did they know this was the egg of a Behemoth which had laid in slumber, incubated by the planet’s atmosphere. Ksar Scientist were quick to realise that terraforming the planet could be dangerous to the egg, while the Ksar Space Programme where anxiously pushing the colonisation of the planet. The egg would have precious little time.
It was at this time the Behemoth awoke from it’s slumber as if summoned by a spiritual bond. Now it must travel many galaxies spanning billions of light years in order to save it’s species….
